About Hershawn
Hershawn Arora is Toronto’s brightest young comic. His high-energy style, cerebral crowd work, and vulnerable material set him apart from his peers. Hershawn's work has been featured on Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Roast Battle™, CBC LOL!, Comedy Records™, and SiriusXM.With a loyal online following that is rising in numbers, he has sold out his last twenty-one independently produced shows. A fan-favourite at all Toronto comedy clubs, Kenny Robinson's Nubian Revue, and a regular at the world-famous Your Hood's a Joke, Hershawn has been recognised as one of the most promising acts in the country and is currently embarking upon his first nationwide headline comedy tour.In addition to his comedic endeavours, Hershawn has been writing and composing hip-hop music since he was in elementary school. What started as an innocent emulation of Eminem progressed into a passion for lyricism and storytelling. Since the age of 17, Hershawn has been releasing his music online. His most notable releases are his 2021 album, Hopeless Romantic, and his 2024 single Who Woulda Known?Dipping his toes into the world of acting, Hershawn has trained extensively at EVN Studios in Toronto, and is actively seeking representation for commercials, TV and film.
